New ATEX-compliant range uses LEDs to target hazardous industries
The new range of LED lighting from NeoBulb is specifically designed for use in hazardous industries dealing with explosives, extreme temperatures, and explosive particles.
The NeoBulb Escort ATEX lighting fixtures offer more than seven years of 24-hour continuous usage, designed to reduce manufacturing downtime caused by replacing faulty light fixtures.
Simon Leggett, managing director of OCG Lighting, who have exclusive UK distribution rights for the range, said, “From factories using dangerous explosives, to pharmaceutical facilities with harmful materials, the NeoBulb Escort ATEX range has considerable potential in a range of industries”.
The high-power LEDs are ATEX compliant, meaning they are suitable for environments with flammable vapours, ignitable dusts, corrosive, wet, dusty, and extremely hot or cold conditions.
It is reported that the Escort ATEX range offers a 70 per cent energy saving compared to existing solutions, allowing manufacturers a solution to meet ever-challenging energy reduction targets.
