Philips introduces a low energy alternative to T8s

The MASTER TL-D Power Saver Set provides a 30 per cent energy saving to help businesses cut their energy bill.

It is Philips’ latest a range of solutions in response to the phase out of T8 halophosphate fluorescent tubes in the EU, which began in April this year.

The MASTER TL-D Power Saver Set combines the Philips’ TL-D lamp and its new electronic starter, which is an integral component within the system. This means professional users can have the benefits of high frequency control gear without the added cost.

The phosphor mix and lamp design of the TLD 80 lamp delivers high colour quality white light with the same light level as a standard T8 with a 30 per cent energy saving.
