If you are a Product Designer we’re looking for you…

You’ll be… outgoing, enthusiastic, and conscientious… You’ll have high standards, great timekeeping and be described as courteous, mature and a team player.

 

You’ll be…. an established Design Engineer and will deliver new, original and innovative architectural LED lighting product designs for manufacture.

 

You’ll be… assisting Brightstone to become one of the leading lighting design and manufacturing companies in the UK. Your duties will include product design and presentation to senior management and staying ahead of trends and technologies in the lighting field.

You’ll be… applying the skills you already have in product design along with your abilities to communicate well and your confidence using Solid Works or similar. You will deliver visually attractive and practically functional designs from brief to required specification, budgets, timescales and to industry standards.

Lighting experience is essential to this role along with a strong business development background and account managing experience. This role will involve travel around the whole of the UK.

Lighting Designer

We seek a talented designer for our London office to play a key role in the delivery of our growing portfolio of education and international projects. You will be joining a tight-knit team comprising artists, product designers, engineers, theatre and exhibition designers working within the wider BDP multidisciplinary practice. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and illustrate lighting concepts from internal briefings, develop these to detailed designs and produce supporting calculations. Ideally you will have some experience in a design role and/or a Masters degree in lighting. Knowledge of daylight design and basic IT skills in Photoshop, Agi32, and Dialux will be advantageous.

An experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage our comprehensive outdoor product portfolio. 3 Key Account Managers to work in our newly formed Contractor Key Account Management Team. Responsibilities will include designing overall strategy for assigned key accounts (e.g., account plan, leadership). Identify, establish and cultivate relationships with key decision makers. Drive appropriate structures for partnership agreements, and pursue these in relevant cases, seek “preferred supplier” status for Thorn Lighting within target accounts.
