Lighting crooners in action
Two key figures in the lighting profession have been hiding their vocal talents under a bushel. Until, that is, they made exhibitions of themselves at a pair of industry events.
First billing goes to Mike Hill of WE-EF. Mike took advantage of the Professional Lighting Design Convention in Berlin to show off his undeniably great singing voice, belting out a series of classic numbers.
Next up is ‘befuddled rural lighting designer’ and occasional Lighting blogger John Bullock, who used his presentation at our own LoveLight event to treat us to a few strains from the Wet Wet Wet classic Love Is All Around. The audience – perhaps befuddled themselves by the free booze – seemed appreciative.
Fortunately, both unforgettable performances were captured for posterity thanks to the miracle of modern technology, and we present them for your viewing pleasure.
