Swirling Moscow

Dmitriy Chistoprudov uses long-exposure photography to create stunning images of Moscow’s city lights. Taken from a 900ft crane which is being used to build a skyscraper called Federation, in the Moscow City complex, he braved freezing conditions, remaining completely still for up to two hours. Starting his work at one in the morning, these swirling images uniquely capture Moscow’s nocturnal colours.
