Harvard has recently appointed John Charles as its new business development manager.

John has over 27 years experience working on local authority lighting and communications systems and has been responsible for implementing a number of international lighting design projects in the US, South Africa and Australia, as well as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and Terminal 5 in the UK.

Working as a senior member of the external sales team John’s role will involve identifying and developing new business opportunities, and securing new contracts for Harvard’s innovative LeafNut street lighting solution from both local authorities and commercial users.

Commenting on his appointment, John Charles said: “I am thrilled to be joining Harvard at such an exciting time. The opening of the new premises, which strengthens our extensive UK-based research, development and manufacturing facilities, will allow us to proactively develop solutions for UK and global customers.”
