A decade of design: anniversary video

The occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Lighting Design Awards, which recently took place at the Park Lane Hilton in London, presented the perfect opportunity to look at the way the lighting design profession has developed over the last ten years.

At the event, Lighting magazine previewed a trailer for an anniversary video to celebrate a decade of the awards in their present format.

In the full edit, which is now available to view here, multiple-award winners and key figures from the industry talk about how far lighting design has come in the last ten years, make their predictions for the future and choose their favourite award-winning schemes from the archive.

The lighting designers who took part in this project expressed their wish that this would act as a record that could be revisited in a further ten years’ time.
