Philips appoints White Light as Vari-Lite Service Centre

Entertainment lighting specialist White Light has been appointed as an authorised Philips Vari-Lite Service Centre.
The appointment took effect on 7 December, 2011.
As an Authorised Service Centre, White Light offers service and support for all Vari-Lite automated lighting fixtures.
Technicians can now carry out routine maintenance and servicing or repair work, including warranty repairs, for other Vari-Lite owners across the UK and Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, Dave Isherwood, White Light’s technical director said: “[Being] chosen by one of the pioneering companies in automated lighting to be one of their very few Service Centres in Europe provides clear recognition of the skills and talents of White Light’s team of service engineers. They can now not only maintain our extensive fleet of equipment, as they have always done, but also the lighting rigs of every other user, venue and supplier of Vari-Lite products.”
