The Duke of York made a recent visit to the Abacus headquarters in Nottinghamshire.
It was the first Royal visit for the firm, which has been in operation for over 52 years.
The Duke of York, who is the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment, met the Abacus Group’s managing director Andrew Morris-Richardson on a business trip to St Petersburg in Russia and expressed an interest in getting to know the company better.
Speaking on the visit, Abacus’s global managing director Andrew Morris-Richardson said: “We were delighted to be part of such a high-profile visit – especially given the pivotal role The Duke plays in promoting UK businesses abroad.”
During a full tour of the headquarters and factory facilities, the Duke of York was shown the company’s latest innovations and was briefed on their international growth strategy.
