Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

Designers at the five-star Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland opted to use the ZBOX lighting management system from Zumtobel in the complex’s 56 spa suites. Each of the suites is a loft-like space with large windows and balconies.

Architect and interior designer Claudio Carbone says: “We took particular care to use focussed and dynamic light, so that a special atmosphere and character is conveyed to the rooms.”

The lighting management system welcomes guests with bright lighting, but also ensures discreet illumination for watching TV, focussed light for working and dimmed lighting at night. Four control points give access to the lighting scenes.
