Proposals for installations at Salisbury Cathedral

Still visualisations, but impressive nonetheless, these are proposals from Bruce Munro for two installations in and around Salisbury Cathedral. Light Shower will be a huge chandelier - a “cloud of light”, says Munro - that will be installed in the middle of the cathedral this coming winter. The fibre optic installation will have 2,000 clear tear-drop diffusers, replacing the metal halide floodlights and spotlights in that part of the cathedral. Water Towers will consist of a maze of 69 towers that will populate the cloisters walkways. Each tower will be created from illuminated water bottles, and will change colour in synch with music.
