Super yacht

Creating a dynamic and flexible environment on board a 499-tonne super yacht takes skill and a great number of light sources, as Light and Design Associates discovered. Together with interior specialist Keech Green, they chose a mix of LEDs, fibre optics and tungsten halogen lamps all controlled by Lutron’s HomeWorks solution to match the brief. In the dining area and cocktail bar, a number of dimmable light sources including alabaster lights, LED strips and shelf lighting provide a range of different moods. Every light is controlled by Lutron keypads, including 4,000 fibre optic strands embedded in the spiral staircase.
